Failure to Properly Maintain Your Vehicle – This is as simple as it sounds; accidents resulting in the failure to keep your vehicle maintained and properly functioning safely on the road.

Workplace Accidents

The most common work-related injuries include overexertion, slipping or falling, falling objects, reaction injuries, walking into injuries, vehicle or machine accidents, and on the job violent acts.

Overexertion – This is the most common type of workplace injury and occurs when a person is worked beyond physical capabilities. For example, a sprain or strain is a type injury caused by overexertion.

Slipping or Falling – Slipping or falling can occur any time in the workplace, especially if proper warning was not brought to employee attention about a particular slippery area, or an area prone to tripping.

Falling Objects – These injuries usually occur within the construction field but are not limited to said area. Any equipment being stored or placed at any height has the potential to cause an injury.

Vehicle or Machine – These accidents deal with injuries while operating a machine while on the work site or during a job. For example, injuries caused by operating a forklift.

Violent Acts – Violence in the workplace can include anything from harassment, direct or indirect threats, words or gestures creating fear or harm, stalking, etc.
